Whistleblowing Policy

Concerns get heard, the person raising them is protected, and the brand acts on what it learns.

Effective date: 8 May 2026

1. Purpose

Mr. Gay Sweden is a registered trademark. The brand is operated jointly by Haris Eloy through HE PR and Communication AB, and Navid Kabiri through Clean Group. This policy sets out how anyone connected to Mr. Gay Sweden can raise a concern about conduct that is illegal, unethical, or harmful, and what happens when they do. The goal is straightforward: concerns get heard, the person raising them is protected, and the brand acts on what it learns.

2. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to everyone involved with Mr. Gay Sweden, including:
  • Current and former contestants
  • Volunteers and crew
  • Contractors, suppliers, and partners
  • Members of the public with direct knowledge of a concern

If you have a legitimate concern connected to Mr. Gay Sweden, this policy applies to you.

3. What you can report

Use this policy to raise concerns about:
  • Harassment, discrimination, or abuse involving anyone connected to the brand
  • Misconduct during auditions, competitions, or events
  • Dishonest or misleading conduct by brand operators or representatives
  • Unaddressed health and safety risks
  • Any conduct that violates Swedish law or the stated values of Mr. Gay Sweden

This policy is for genuine concerns raised in good faith. It is not the right channel for complaints about competition results or subjective judging decisions; those should go through the standard feedback process.

4. How to report a concern

You can submit a report through the primary channel below. Your report should describe what happened, when and where it happened, who was involved, and whether there are any witnesses or supporting materials. The more specific you are, the easier it is to act on your concern. You can report anonymously; anonymous reports will be reviewed and acted on where the information is sufficient to do so, but anonymous reporting limits our ability to follow up or keep you informed of the outcome.

Secondary contacts:
Haris Eloy - haris.eloy@mrgaysweden.se
Navid Kabiri - navid.kabiri@mrgaysweden.se

5. Confidentiality

Your identity will be kept confidential to the extent possible. The people handling the report will know who you are, but your identity will not be disclosed to the subject of the complaint or to anyone else without your consent, unless disclosure is required by law. If confidentiality cannot be maintained for legal or procedural reasons, you will be told before any disclosure is made.

6. Protection for people who report

Mr. Gay Sweden is committed to protecting anyone who raises a concern in good faith. Retaliation against a whistleblower is a serious breach of this policy and will be treated as misconduct in its own right. Protection covers:
  • Exclusion from competition, events, or roles as a consequence of reporting
  • Harassment or intimidation following a report
  • Damage to reputation within the Mr. Gay Sweden community

If you experience retaliation after making a report, report it immediately through the same channel.

7. How reports are handled

When a report is received, we will:
  • Acknowledge it within 5 working days
  • Carry out an initial assessment to determine whether the concern falls within this policy
  • Conduct a fair and confidential investigation
  • Communicate the outcome to the person who reported where possible

The time an investigation takes depends on the complexity of the concern. We will provide updates where we are able to. Not every outcome can be shared in full, particularly where it involves confidential personnel matters.

8. Reports made in bad faith

This policy protects people who raise genuine concerns in good faith, even if the concern turns out to be unfounded. A report made in bad faith, with the deliberate intent to harm someone, is a different matter and may itself be treated as misconduct.

9. Policy review

This policy will be reviewed annually. Updates will be published on www.mrgaysweden.se and will take effect on the date of publication.
